Accel for Saxophone
Carbon Fiber has a lower density (1.6 g/cm3) than Brass (8.6 g/cm3), Copper (8.9 g/cm3), Silver (10.5 g/cm3) and Gold (19.3 g/cm3) and generates less resonance due to its low resistance to air. Carbon Fiber is a material x5 more resistant than Steel.
ACCEL ligatures have a special elastic treatment in order to adjust perfectly the reed to the mouthpiece. Now available for clarinet and alto saxophone, ACCEL ligatures benefit the excellent properties of the carbon fiber (easy response and staccato, homogeneity in all registers and stability in extreme dynamics) by producing a rounded and dark sound.
